When Something Still Doesn't Fit
Maybe you've been diagnosed with ADHD and something still doesn't quite fit.
Maybe you're wondering about autism or AuDHD, but you can't face another assessment, another process or another thing to figure out right now.

Notice the tug-of-war.
Instead of:
"Why can't I just do this?
"Try:" What are the two needs fighting each other right now?"
Novelty ↔ Predictability
Stimulation ↔ Quiet
Connection ↔ Alone time
Getting things done ↔ Recovery
Routine ↔ Freedom
✨ Try one tiny thing
Don't fix the whole day.
Ask yourself:
"What would make the NEXT 10 MINUTES easier?"
Pick ONE.
🧠 Too much in my head?
Write one thing down.
🚀 Can't start?
Make the first step ridiculously small.
🌊 Everything is too much?
Reduce one source of input.
⚡ Not enough stimulation?
Add movement, music or novelty.
🪫 Completely drained?
Rest without turning rest into another task.
That's enough.
Seriously.
Sometimes your dog is the
easier place to start.
You don't always need another worksheet.
Go outside with your dog. Sit beside them. Walk without trying to achieve anything.
Notice what they're noticing. Notice How you feel.
Play for five minutes. Put your phone away.

Sometimes connection, movement and another living thing beside you can be the first manageable step.
💜 Need something different?
You don't have to work out what kind of support you need on your own.
